Hello, I would like to join but I can't request due to a setting being on request to administrator only?

Hey, I wanna join this group, but this group only allows people to join as admins, contributors, mods or something of the sort, but not as normal members. I can't because I'm already one or another in three other groups (dA puts a limit to that unless you pay premium membership).

Can't you guys configurate things so that people can join as normal members and contribute to it?
